As someone who has spent much of my career at the intersection of academia and industry, I am always inspired by initiatives that bring both sectors together meaningfully. Dr. Valerie Salter and I had the privilege of hosting a fascinating webinar on INNOVATION Insights Live, where we explored how innovation is reshaping the future of the hospitality industry. Our conversation featured Tim Flohr, MBA; Lisa Cain, Ph.D.; and Robert Thompson, Ph.D., the trailblazing founders of HospitalityInternships.com. Their platform is dedicated to addressing the ongoing global workforce shortage in hospitality, and I was honored to be part of the dialogue.
